Supercritical Fluid Extraction

This method requires a special equipment for containment and pressure. In this process, carbon dioxide gas is liquefied under pressure then heated up to the point where it has both liquid and gas properties. The condensed fluid is used as the solvent to extract oil. There are several uses of algae oil products. To begin with, it is a source of fuel. It can be used to make biodiesel. Bioethanol and biodiesel. Besides, it can produce superior amounts of vegetable oils compared to other crops grown for the same purpose.
